8th Grade Literature Teacher, Summerbridge Pittsburgh

· Implemented a self-created curriculum to provide students with transferable skills

· Built supportive relationships with underserved children

· Designed and led events and projects such as National Coming Out Day, film screenings and discussions

· Worked within a team to bring speakers and educational events to Dickinson College's campus

· Implemented techniques in constructing e-portfolios, grant writing, community building, and conflict resolution

· Worked to ensure that Dickinson College was a socially and environmentally sustainable community
